Spencer post 6
Today Sam and I worked on 2 things. One thing was that we needed to finish our rocket and blueprints, so Sam stuck with that and we are a shoe in to win the design challenge. Another thing we worked on specifically me, was the final. We thought that the best way to show our understanding of Newton's 3 Laws was to make a magazine proving so. Therefor I made the exoskeleton of the final.

Spencer and Sam The Lunch 2
Sam and I launched for a second time today and totally changed our rocket like planned. We changed it to be top heavy and put new great wing on. We went from going 35 meters to 105 meters. Today was a great day for our team.

Spencer Post 5 (The launch)
Our launch today was considered to be unsuccessful, but in a way i think that we are still in the running for distance. We launched our rocket and found major missing key parts that should have been perfect or just there sloppily. For one is that we accidently had 1 fin upside down which that might be why we spun out of control and went only 35 feet. Another missing thing that we are working on is we want our rocket to be top heavy. Sam is going to mold our nose cone tomorrow and i will fix the fins too. Sam and i will change the complete look and our rocket will be unrecognizable by the finish.

Spencer and I had launched our first trial today but it wasn't much of a success, but we do believe we will have a better trial tommorow due to the major changes we conducted to our rocket. I do believe we will have a succesful launch tommorow.

Spencer post 4
Neither Sam nor i have finalized our homework but we will in support. Sam had been absent so i did my part of the rocket and now it is Sam's part to do his. We should finish by tomorrow or maybe in two days.
Spencer post 3
I just finished the day, started to clean up and i am almost finished constructing the rocket. All we need is MAYBE two more days maybe 1. I feel like we are to win the distance competition and reach past the woods.
Spencer Post 2
It is Spencer alone making the rocket. I decided to make a rocket out of a "Perrier" sparkling water bottle. I was informed that the Perrier bottle won last years distance and hang time. I researched that an agive which is the tip works very well with our curved bottle shape and that fins should be in proportion with the rocket's size. I am still considering what material and what size to use for my fins. So far i have a very well made rocket that is described as; long and skinny for quick speed that makes as little as possible drag, made out of two Perrier bottles to make both ends cut through the air fairly easily, and a tall skinny nose cone to cut through the air fairly easily and as quick as possible.

Research Spencer post 1
Hi this is Spencer and I'm a trying to figure out what fins are the best for our rocket. At first i was thinking we could use cut up gift cards for strong hold.
1st Post
Sam and Spencer just finished our blogger and just started our research for the first time.
